We’re growing — and looking for a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager to join our Federal Division. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Scout and identify new federal business opportunities and potential clients
  • Set up and lead meetings, build proposals, and close deals — from spark to signed contract
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in federal agencies and defense contractors
  • Refine and execute capture strategies alongside executive leadership
  • Develop sales pipelines that support both near-term wins and long-term growth
  • Represent Kavaliro at industry events, networking opportunities, and client sites (expect frequent travel)
  • Collaborate with internal teams (recruiters, proposal writers, delivery managers) to ensure seamless handoffs and delivery success
  • Track and hit performance goals that support company growth

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 2+ years of federal-focused business development experience
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in the DoD/Federal space
  • Experience working with IT or Cybersecurity solutions (bonus points if you’ve sold them!)
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills — you know how to listen, solve, and close
  • Confidence navigating complex buying processes and government capture strategies
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently (including multi-day trips to client sites, conferences, and networking events)
