At Kavaliro, we enjoy taking the time to recognize our outstanding consultants. This February, we want to highlight Cecelia Bellot and her work. As an Accounting Associate, Cecelia has had much success in her field. One of the most enjoyable aspects of her job is working in Excel and handling reconciliations. She finds it to be fulfilling to be part of a great team, all striving towards a common goal.
Cecelia is from the beautiful island of Antigua in the Caribbean. It is where she was born and raised, surrounded by vibrant culture and warm hospitality. But as life took its course, she found herself embarking on a new chapter, and now she proudly calls Texas home.
She is passionate about a variety of hobbies that bring her joy and fulfillment outside of the office. Singing allows her to express herself through music, while going to the beach brings a sense of tranquility and relaxation. Reading self-help books fuels her personal growth and inspires her to be the best version of herself. Lastly, playing tennis provides her with a great outlet for physical activity and friendly competition.
Following her passion of singing she had the incredible honor of winning a singing contest! As part of her winning prize, she got to embark on an unforgettable adventure to beautiful Canada where she got to go see the majestic Niagara Falls.
Her passion for music does not just stop with her singing. She has also recently embarked on a journey to learn how to play the piano. What makes it even more special is that she gets to share this experience with her daughter. Cecelia has a total of four remarkable children and is happily married to an incredible Chemistry teacher.
When we asked Cecelia what led her to this career this is what she had to say, "Two things led me to this career: First, I grew up helping my Dad in his construction business. My sisters, brother and I all helped him with the accounting side of his business; making frequent trips to the bank. I learnt to appreciate business operations from my Dad. Second, I became a teller some years ago, and I developed an appreciation for credit unions; I then continued to work for credit unions in the accounting department."
Cecelia is continuously expanding her skills and knowledge as an Analyst. One of the key areas she is currently focused on is mastering Excel's Power Query, formulas, and functions. She feels this is crucial for her career growth in this role. However, it doesn't stop there. Adaptability and embracing change are also skills that she is working on honing. She firmly believes that being flexible is not only vital personally but also professionally.
In conclusion, we're thankful for all of Cecelia's hard work and dedication. Her passion for her work make her an exceptional consultant. Thank you again, for all that you do.
